Simplicity, Flexibility, Integration, and Help

The system is designed containing a lot of features which allow the user to adapts and have full grasp on the system quickly and easily.
  • The system uses the standard OCF forms terms and fields
    This allows the user to easily understand and adapt to the system.
  • Forms are provided with on screen hints for every field
    Just hover your mouse over any element in any screen, and the system will display you a hint on the selected element
  • Some forms use wizards to guide the user through the steps to perform the required action
    . An example is the Templates Form
  • System Allows Training Mode
    The user can switch at any time to training mode to try some action. The action will be performed against a training database, and will not affect the real data. After finishing the trial, the user can swich easily to the real database.
    the system will indicate clearly to the user if using the training mode.

The system provides a high degree of Flexibility and Configurability, which allows the administrator to control how the application works according to the firm policies. The following are some of the Flexibility and Configurability options:
  • Control The location of the different files
    (Like the client related files, help files, templates...Etc.)
  • Assign permissions against application functions to the different users according to their roles
    (By creating different user roles (groups) and assign the necessary permissions to each group. The users will be assigned to these groups and inherit the permissions. The administrator can easily turn the security module ON/OFF)
  • Authorized users can create letters templates to fit the firm letters format
    (Creating templates is one of the biggest features the system provides. It allows the users to create unlimited numbers of letter templates to be used as needed. The system will automatically populate these templates when printing/Reviewing. There is a special section for the templates in subsequent pages about Templates.)
  • Setting Retainer agreement terms
    The system allows the user to define a variety of terms in the retainer agreement to fulfil the firm way of work. The agreement printing will follow these terms, and the settlements and case finalization and accounting will follow them as well.
  • Admin can define printing preferences
    (For example Allow/prevent printing Company logo AND/OR the company name/address on the letters.

The system performs the actions in integration, in other words, the user enters the minimum necessary information, and the system implement the needed actions throughout all areas.
For example, the settlement form will need to enter only the settlement Gross Amount and the system will perform all the accounting entries to handle the Health provider account, The client Expenses / Loans / Interest on loans...etc, and . office fees.
Another example is creating automatic reminders when doing dome specific transactions.

Another aspect of Integration is integration with Outlook. The system is fully integrated with outlook where users can import Emails and assign them to client cases, and save them in the database for future retreival even if they are deleted from the database.

The system is equiped with a lot of helping tools to enable the users to do their work smoothly and accurately. The following are some of these tools:
  • Tooltips
    (These are short explanation of each element in each form. It is triggered by Hovering the mouse over the element and stay for 2 seconds there)
  • Details for invalid actions
    (When the user performs an invalid action, the system displays the appropriate message, and if it needs detailed explanation, another optional level will show by user request)
  • A main help of type How to start is available in the main menu
    (Displays the logical steps discribing how to start utilizing the system)
  • Full Audio/Video contextual help
    (Each form includes a menu of Help topics which displays in multimedia clips the selected topic. This is a very rich topic).
  • Where to find ... help
    (There is a form that user can consult to ask where to find a specific functionality).
